Section Control Lacing

The SCL System is the most comfortable and easy-to-use closure system ever produced. We even could improve the system through an optimized positioning of the new laceguides and achieve perfect pressure to the ankle area, reduce friction and make the opening of the boots unbelievably easy. Simply pull the 2 lace handles for “triple zone” pressure adjustment and personalized fit from top to bottom. Forget about laces cutting into your fingers, or coming untied halfway through the day. Getting out of the SCL is just as easy – Pop open the 2 lace covers and BAM! The 3 sections of the lacing system instantly loosen up, allowing you to slide your foot out with ease. Section Control is a true breakthrough in speed lacing.

To release the lacing system, gently slide the cover upward till it clicks and stays in open position. Open powerstrap.
Remove handle from holster.
Pull tongue forward and pull upward.
Slide liner lace mechanism upward to open the liner.
Step in, pull liner lacing handle tight (to achieve firm foothold, move forefoot up and down during closing). Cover closes automatically upon slight outward motion. If you have a loose liner lacing (Thermoflex) slide lock down to close.
Close outer boot: Position tongue, close powerstrap. Pull out handle. Cover closes automatically upon slight outward motion. Pressure build up as per individual preference.
For fine adjustment the lacing can be loosened by sliding the cover slightly upwards. Refastening is possible in all positions.
Step out accordingly.
